Abstract
It was the purpose of this study (1) to compare the opinions of noted authors and committee groups on junior high school interscholastic athletics; (2) to determine the basis for the justification of a program in junior high school interscholastic athletics; (3) to learn the significant trends in junior high school athletics; and (4) to learn the standards for junior high school athletic participation.
