Abstract

This paper surveys two groups of sixth grade students in the Evergreen School District to evaluate if double shifting could have an effect on their attitudes.

Results of the survey indicated that there was no significant difference between attitudes of double shifting and non-double shifting students, nor between boys and girls who were double shifted. Afternoon students however were shown to have a significantly lower attitude than morning shifted students.

Recommendations included further study evaluating a specific attitude rather than attitude in general.
