Abstract
It was the purpose of this study to (1) examine available research and studies relevant to the subject of placement of the educable mentally retarded, and (2) to determine the effectiveness of the programs for the educable mentally retarded; and to report on the findings in literature as well as interpret the findings in the light of present day situations.
