Abstract
Through setting up a music festival at Central Washington University I observed a need for independent music in Ellensburg, closer gender parity in regard to event line-ups, and how in-depth research in policy, budgets, networking, and inclusion would make this possible. In this presentation I will be describing my vision, explaining logistics, and reflecting on lessons learned and where to go in the future.
