Description

This article describes the unexpected influx of Mormon women, organized as the "Blue and White Coalition", which arrived at the Washington State Women's Conference on July 8th, 1977. These women were instructed by church elders the previous week to come and stand against the pro-Equal Rights Amendment ratifications that were being discussed at the event.
