Abstract
"Maple Leaf and Mud" makes no claim to be a formal unit history, instead it is an attempt to describe the lifestyle of the Tenth Battalion in the trenches during World War I. It is based on unpublished letters, correspondence, and interviews. Preservation of this original source material is the primary purpose of "Maple Leaf and Mud."
