Accessibility
ScholarWorks includes a wide range of digital content in various formats. In many cases, especially with archival materials digitized from physical and analog sources, these materials are formatted in ways that make them difficult to use with adaptive or assistive technology such as screen readers. CWU Libraries is committed to providing accessible digital resources whenever possible and ensuring that access to its content is consistent with obligations under state and federal law, including the Americans with Disabilities Act.
We aim to make ScholarWorks content accessible to all potential users with practices such as:
- Captioning audio and video content
- Providing alternative text for images
- Providing transcripts or applying optical character recognition (OCR) for PDFs
If you encounter accessibility problems with any material in ScholarWorks, please contact us at .
