This article talks about the face-off between feminists and the "Blue and White Coalition" (composed primarily of Mormon women) on the topic of the Equal Rights Amendment ratifications that were discussed at the Washington State Women's Conference in Ellensburg, Washington on July 8-10th, 1977. The two groups were divided on issues such as lesbianism, abortion, and government spending for child care.
