Description

Salmon la Sac Lodge was built by Alfred McDonald circa 1934. The site included a main log structure plus ten self-contained cabins in the back. A Pelton water wheel generated electricity for the lodge. The lodge was located near to the Salmon la Sac Depot. It was significant to the development of tourism in the area.
