Abstract
In preparation for teaching an eighth grade course at Monticello Junior High School, Longview, Washington, the writer proposes to develop a teaching guide for explorations in electricity and electronics. The Longview school system has not yet adopted a guide for this particular area. This guide is intended to provide the writer with a broader knowledge of background information, enabling him to make the course more interesting and useful to the students. By using this guide the writer will be able to direct his classes toward the objectives of industrial arts and general education.
