Abstract
An effective art program must meet the needs of a particular school or school district and be a planned and continuous study. It was the purpose of this study to recommend an art program for the Miller junior high school. These questions were posed to aid the writer: (1) What are the purposes of a good art program? (2) What criteria are in use for setting up an art program? (3) What criteria are helpful in the selection, organization, and evaluation of art activities? And, specifically, (4) What procedures would be helpful in setting up an appropriate program for the Miller junior high school?
