Abstract
The purpose of this study is to present information pertinent to education for citizenship training in the elementary schools. This paper attempts to give suggested ideas for the improvement of: (1) respect for law, (2) loyalty and patriotism, (3) respect for self and others, (4) the development of attitudes and values, and (5) the teacher's general background with regard to citizenship training.
