Abstract
Central Distinguished Professor and Professor Emeritus Robert M. Panerio Sr, calls this 1947 band "the finest ever assembled at Central." Panerio would play lead trumpet in the Sweecians as a freshman in 1949. He would assume direction of this band from Bert Christianson in 1960, retiring in 1991.
