Description
Wayne Hertz taught in the music department at Central Washington College of Education (predecessor to Central Washington University) 1938-1974. He passed away in 1996. This interview was conducted immediately after the CWU centennial celebration on May 30, 1991, which was the culmination of a year long celebration. Music Professor Emeritus Robert Panerio composed ³Te Deum² especially for the event. His piece was dedicated to Wayne Hertz.

May 30, 1992 was the official CWU Centennial Concert culminating year-long 100 year celebrations across campus. Music Professor Emeritus Robert Panerio composed “Te Deum” especially for the event. His piece was dedicated to Wayne Hertz. The Hertz interview was recorded immediately after the concert.
