Abstract
Twelve computer software programs providing instruction and practice in library skills for students in grades four through six were produced for use on the TRS-80 Color Computer. Six skills were covered by the computer programs: 1) using the card catalog, 2) locating a book in the library, 3) understanding the Dewey Decimal System of Classification, 4) using a dictionary, 5) writing a book report, and 6) making a bibliography. One additional program was designed to assess student reading attitude. The programs were tested in use by eighteen students, grades four through eight, who provided anecdotal feedback.
