Description
Looking north up Pearl Street south of the intersection of Third and Pearl Streets the large three story, brick St. Regis Hotel can be seen on the left. The hotel taxi was parked on the street ready to transport visitors to and from the Northern Pacific or C. M. & St. P. Railroad Depots. The impressive German style architecture of the Kreidel Building on the right was a major Ellensburg landmark until the tower was removed in 1945. People on foot, children riding bicycles and early automobiles fill the busy street.Postcard titled, "No. 35 Pearl Street Ellensburg Wash."
