Description
The newly constructed Carnegie Public Library was completed in late fall 1909. Located at 209 N. Ruby Street, the classic stype Carnegie Library served the patrons of Ellensburg until 1966.Postcard titled: "D3896 New Carnegie Library, Ellensburg, Wash." Postmarked Oct. 8, 1911 in Ellensburg and Oct. 16, 1911 in Boston, Mass. Handwritten note in ink to Miss Margorie Davidson, 45th and Botatpt St., Boston, Mass. from Ruth B.
