Description
The first school in Roslyn was built in 1890 with 49 students attending classes. The large two story school building constructed in 1900 housed the primary grades. The building had six rooms, but was later enlaged to eight rooms to accommodate the high school on the upper floor. The school was located in the southwest part of town.Postcard titled: "Public School, Roslyn, Wash." Postmarked February 13, 1907 from Roslyn, Wash. Addressed to Miss Ida Menzies, 6202 Warner, So.
