Description
Looking south toward Peoh Point and South Cle Elum Ridge, the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railroad depot is seen located and the end of the street. With the coming of the C.M. and S.P. Railroad in 1909 the depot was constructed and the community of South Cle Elum grew quickly as several small wood frame businesses were built. Alvin M. Gerber's saloon on the right was located next to E. A. Ryan's barber shop.Postcard titled: "Milwaukee Depot. So. Cle Elum, Wn."
