Description
The large, two-story Cle Elum High School was built in 1904 on East Second Street. The wood frame building consisted of eight rooms; four rooms were located on each floor. Mr. James Thomas was the principal. Mr. C. G. Holm was hired so students would be offered three years of high school. The building was enlarged about 1914. Postcard dated April 19, 1911. Handwritten note in pencil addressed to Mrs. J. P. Terry, Garcia Wash. from Miss Jennie Long, South Cle Elum, Wash.
