Abstract
The study was designed to investigate inter-scorer
consistency and test-retest reliability of Koppitz's
"Emotional Indicator11 scoring system for human figure drawings.
Drawings were secured from 438 t hird grade pupils.
A test-retest interval of one month was employed.
Phi coefficients ranging from . 75 to . 81 were found
for inter-scorer consistency between three judges . Twenty-eight
of Koppitz 1 s 30 "Emotional Indicators" and her all
important total score category yielded test-retest phi coefficients smaller than .43.
