Abstract
This paper presents a survey of schools in Southeastern Washington housing girls grades 7, 8, and 9. The questionnaire asked the respondent to indicate the activities in which their girls participated, competitive basis of the activity, the number of girls participating, number of days per week, and the total number of days per week, and the total number of weeks for the fall, winter, and spring. The evaluation of the data was compile by chi square analysis with explanation of the statistics following.
A recommendation of shortening and revising the questionnaire was suggested. Also the duplication of this questionnaire in Western Washington and on the high school level was recommended.
