Abstract

This paper presents a study of the relationship between personality factors and improvement in articulation by eleven children. A personality test and an articulation test were given, followed by eight weeks of therapy. The percentage of change in articulation scores and personality test scores were divided into high and low groups, entered in 2 x 2 Contingency Tables and submitted to the X2 statistic, with a .05 level of confidence resulting.

Recommendations included additional research with a larger number of children.
