Abstract
It was the purpose of this study to compare results from the selected isotonic exercises as recommended by Steinhaus, the selected isometric exercises as recommended by Karpovich, and a non-directed exercise program on the seventh and eighth grade male students of Monroe Junior High School as a means of building and retaining strength which was measured by the Roger's Strength Test.
