H. Glenn Hogue was born in Ellensburg, Washington. He attended local public schools and graduated from Ellensburg High School. After graduation he was accepted at Williamette University, where he spent two years taking classes before returning to Ellensburg to attend the Washington State Normal School. He entered the graduate program in Industrial Arts at Washington State College in the 1925 and after graduation returned to Ellensburg to instruct at the Normal School in 1927. Hogue served as an instructor and professor in the Art Department until his retirement in 1959.
This collection contains images of events and people from the Central Washington University campus, the Ellensburg community and the surrounding region. It also includes numerous portraits of students and faculty from the 1930s to 1960s.
