Abstract
This presentation is particularly for new Primo users or those institutions who would like to move to Primo. This presentation will elaborate what configuration and steps should be set up in Primo Back Office in order to harvest local digital repositories such as bepress Digital commons, and talk about what lessons and experiences we have learned through the process. As a member of the Orbis Cascade Alliance, CWU moved to Alma/Primo from III’s Millennium on Dec 18, 2014. After a short-term Primo certificate training, we are able to successfuly harvest our local digital repository ScholarWorks to Primo so that our users can enjoy next-generation discovery capabilities across the full spectrum of resources, including faceted browsing, search-term suggestions, relevance and popularity-based ranking, and much more.
