Abstract
An exploratory study was conducted to create a near future needs-based list of national research priorities for Organization Development. Brainstorming surveys were mailed to Organization Development practitioners and academics throughout the United States. Their responses were rated and categorized by recent graduates and students nearing graduation respectively in Central Washington University's Master of Science in Organization Development. The rated responses and categories were ranked, creating a list of national research priorities for Organization Development. This list is accessible to academics, students, consultants and others interested in conducting Organization Development relevant research. Opportunities for closing the gap between Organization Development science and practice are discussed. It is not intended to limit what is researched, rather, to stimulate discussion and thought about future research.
