Abstract
My presentation will center around an experience I gained while at Central. Because this was my first time out of the house, and in a different climate, I had to learn how to live on my own and adjust to my surroundings. The first summer quarter I spent in Eastern Washington was definitely an eye-opening experience for me. I got heat stroke and had it not been for a friend of mine, I'm not sure I would be here today. Thus, after a brief introduction of myself as an alumni of Central, and perhaps an overview of some other lessons I learned, I will read the story I wrote about my experience with heat stroke...
