Abstract
This presentation will analyze the importance of key leadership and the successes that come with it in group scenarios. In almost any kind of group circumstance there is a designated leader with their own tailored leadership characteristics. We will be looking at group dynamics and how they play a role in crafting and shaping one’s leadership style as well as how to establish well rounded characteristics of such. In order to lead a specific group and have them perform at the highest level, you must know the individuals first and what makes them tick by establishing a personal relationship with them. Based off that, shaping your leadership style to be stricter and hands on or laissez faire may help benefit them. This developmental leadership is demonstrated by some prominent faces from both past and present like that of: Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr. and even Tom Brady of the New England Patriots. Each of these individuals had their own tailored technique of effective leadership in which they provide as sturdy examples to further support our claim. Based on my personal life experiences of being held in leadership positions and seeing excellent examples of headship, the claims stand true to what is discussed and how closely effective leadership produces group success and achievement.
