Abstract
Research methodology for valuing Mastercard will derive from Fundamental Analysis, Valuation, and Margin of safety. From the three main points that will be broken down into Economic moat, Financial Health, Stewardship, Fair value estimation, and uncertainty. The beginning will over the background of the sector and the industry is doing. Macro-economic trends will be covered in the background. I will cover the competition in the market and possible risks that may steal market share from the company. Now going more into detail, this stock analysis will focus on the changes in revenue over time from Mastercard. I will be covering the discounted cash flow model and forecasting it into the future for any profits or losses they may incur. This will give investors an idea of how overvalued or undervalued the current fair value estimate of the stock may be. I will address key growth segments of Mastercard that I believe, allows their global payment network to have a competitive advantage in the industry. I will cover any risks that could potentially drive the value of Mastercard’s stock down such as, deteriorating conditions with bearish outlooks on the moving average.
