Abstract

Hotels and dorm rooms are small and only provide space for a laptop, not a desktop for gaming. So, what is a gamer supposed to do if they can’t afford a gaming laptop while living in a dorm room or traveling? This project looks at the feasibility of combining a mirror and a custom computer for utilization as a mirror as well providing a gaming platform for the travel and education industries. A small custom computer with a two-way mirror and display on the front was tested to see if it could support gaming while taking up the space in a hotel or dorm room wall that is normally reserved for a mirror. Providing a small custom computer that utilizes quiet water cooling and 12-volt fans could be utilized as a feature to increase attractiveness of dorm rooms and hotels.
