Abstract
The Thordax-Tai project was made to help people who are older or have a disability that makes it harder to go upstairs. The CDC has said that at least 60% of people over the age of 60 years old will develop arthritis. This disease can hamper a person’s ability to walk upstairs with items. With this information, the project was started. This robot is made from two Lego Mindstorms sets. Lego Mindstorms is a Lego product that is used as an introduction to robotics. I wanted to use this product because it was the best material, I could get my hands on. The original idea for Thordax-Tai was to have a robot go up the stairs. This concept could be evolved later to have additional functions
