Caption: "Christmas Time, 1978. Ellen Patrick...can't forget my friends on Christmas...truth is you've been in my thoughts quite often throughout this year. This is a change from the usual scenics. It shows the scene looking east from just below my place following a heavy snow fall in January 1964. The old machine shop is off to the left. With this, as always, go my sincere good wishes for a Christmas of peace and serenity...but mum's the word. Folks might misconstrue things, y'know. Anyway, a merry Christmas to you and sis."
