Description

This article talks about Patricia Marx, a Spokane feminist, who feels that the idea of "Equal pay for equal work" has not come true despite the Comparable Worth Study conducted in 1973. The study showed the inequity between men and women's pay with comparable jobs. The article goes on to discuss the Washington State Conference for Women, held on July 8-10th, 1977 at Central Washington State College, and how this issue and many others concerning women in Washington State will be addressed.
