Abstract
An attempt was made in this study to (1) determine how evaluation pertains to the measurement and appraisal of teaching efficiency, (2) determine the function of evaluation as a co-operative effort between the individual teacher and the supervisor to improve teaching, and (3) to determine how the supervisor can use observations and individual conferences to help the teacher evaluate her work.
