Abstract
A project-developed career education curriculum for mildly handicapped students in the resource room at East Valley Central, Moxee, Washington. The curriculum used Brolin's Life-Centered Career Education Curriculum (Brolin, 1978) as a framework which was infused within the existing academic remediation approach used in the middle school resource room. Using Brolin's model, the curriculum presents a scope and sequence of skills necessary for a comprehensive and systematic career program in grades 6-8. The curriculum lists goals and objectives, learning activities, available materials, time lines, and evaluation methods.
