Abstract
This project resulted in completing twenty motivational packets to be used by secondary special education students and their teachers. The packets were designed to introduce students to literature and to encourage them to read. Each packet was based on one novel and includes information designed to help students determine their own interest in a particular novel and to act as an aid to them in comprehending the novel. Additional material includes information for the teacher to evaluate students' progress.
