Abstract

The opinions of school principals and superintendents were assessed concerning federal and state paperwork requirements. A questionnaire was used to obtain the opinions of eighty school administrators. The results showed that school administrators expend a considerable amount of time completing federal and state paperwork. The cost of com pleting paperwork was found to represent a large portion of the education budget in Washington State. Related problems are discussed.
