    Description

Looking east on Fourth Street at the intersection of Fourth and Pearl Streets four well known early Ellensburg building can be seen. On left the Cadwell-Olympic Building, and the towered Davidson Building and on the right the Geddis Building and the stone Ben Snipes Bank Building were all built immediately after the July 1889 fire that destroyed most of the town. In the center of the photograph is the tall steeple of the Baptist Church built in 1887-1888.
