Abstract

In the construction industry several entities use daily observation reports as a standard operating procedure.Owners, their agents, contractors and subcontractors use this form of documentation to easily record the events and progress on a project. This additional paperwork has a cost associated with it; however, the objective of this paper is to demonstrate that benefits outweigh these costs.
