Abstract
This paper pre sents a study undertaken to determine what recommendations
middle school principals would make regarding the training
of prospective. middle school teachers.. A questionnaire was used to
gather recommendations from the princ pals regarding the desired academic preparation and attitudes, and on possible changes in teacher
certification practices.
