Abstract

This paper presents an evaluation of the food habits of 20 species of stoneflies (Plecoptera) as determined by guy analysis. Life history data, principally adult emergence periods and seasonal distribution of naiads, are presented for 38 species. Finally, an evaluation is made of the stoneflies' diet composition and the seasonal availability of potential food materials.
