Abstract
This thesis presents a general theoretical framework and descriptive methodology for helping students develop the capacity and confidence to educated themselves by learning to trust their senses, to develop the ability to explore, to synthesize, to think about their own nature and the meaning of life and the relation between their world and the world. The framework could be termed "a philosophy of expression" which has as its basic tenet the belief that knowledge gained from experience and reflection is only fully realized when expressed.
