Abstract
This study presents the investigation and description of the rules and regulations of the fifty state associations limiting participation of the interscholastic wrestler. The research conducted by a questionnaire, dealt with the conditions for the 1966-67 and 1972-73 seasons and the apparent innovative trends between the two seasons.
The association increased participation in all five categories investigated: (1) weight classes used for competition, (2) in-season meets, (3) post-season tournaments, (4) out-of-season activities, and (5) cultural exchange programs.
