Abstract

Sixty subjects from three scholastic levels were administered the O.S.U Step Test and the Cameron Heartometer test.

The principal purpose of the study was: (1) to extend the step test beyond its normal limit and (2) to reduce the bench height for the younger subjects.

The t-test, analysis of variance, and analysis of covariance were used to compare the data.

In conclusion, the lowered bench height over-compensated for the younger subjects and the extensions of the innings were adequate.
