Abstract

The purposes of this study were to test the significance of difference within and between four high school groups, cross country, physical education, wrestling and basketball, in eleven cardiovascular variables.

Virtually no significant differences were found between any sports groups but the physical education group was significantly inferior to most of the sports groups in most of the variables.
