Abstract
The purpose of this study is to design a setting for the play “Juno And The Paycock”, by Sean O'Casey. It will be done in such a manner as to be (1.) aesthetically satisfactory, (2.) appropriate to the play, its historical period, and social conditions of the characters, (3.) aligned with the demands of stage presentation, in that it provides the necessary space for stage movements, and traffic, (4.) practical for construction within the limits imposed by the stage of McConnell Auditorium.
