Abstract
While gratifying progress has been made toward a healthier pattern of sexual attitudes and behavior there remain two pernicious myths which tend to distort the meaning of sexuality and to mitigate against full satisfaction in human sexual relationships. This article attempts to explore and explode these myths and to suggest a more valid and functional view.
