Abstract
Student progress in language acquisition, reading skills, and math skills can be enhanced through a multi-curricular approach to science. This project utilizes activities containing scientific principles and experiments which will be useful in augmenting the basic skills curriculum. This curriculum was written especially for primary age Moderately Mentally Retarded students, therefore the difficult level of the activities is kept within their ability level. This curriculum is also available as a data disk for use with the Apple computer.
