Abstract
This study presents an examination of microscopic plant and animal structures for the purpose of using the unique forms, colors and textures revealed as a point of departure for artistic expression.
It also delves briefly into the nature of creativity and its manifestation as it relates to art and science.
A slide-script presentation was created to be used as a stimulation device for secondary students who may wish to work in media such as painting, jewelry, batik and printmaking.
